The need to confront and respond to the growing importance of the international dimension of learning and innovation has resulted in the relevant changes in work methods; technological changes in the teaching and learning processes, as well as in the manner of disseminating and highlighting the scientific and technological achievements of our University.
The Self-funded international relations plan, running from 2008 to 2012, is the mean by which the University of Seville continues its process of internationalisation.
The grants included in this plan, are available to all members of the University of Seville, will be distributed in the following manner.
1. Through specific agreements such as LLP Erasmus (for Research and Teaching Staff and Administrative Staff and students)
2. Through the general call for applicants which remains open throughout the academic year and whose commission meets at least twice in the academic year, (before 30 April and before 15 October).

FINANCIAL AID FOR TEACHING STAFF
- Aid for the participation in double degrees, joint degrees and international programs of excellence..
- Funding for short teaching visits from prestigious international professors.
- Aid to allow members of teaching staff to travel to countries which do not belong to the LLP Erasmus action area.
- Financial aid to allow the international mobility of teaching staff for periods of longer than three months.
- Financial aid to attend academic forums and international organizations with an international character.
- Financial aid to allow for the development of international academic activities through the incorporation of IT.
