Erasmus grants for University of Seville Administrative staff

For the fourth consecutive year, the University of Seville is officially offering 25 TRAINING GRANTS TO ADMINISTRATION STAFF for one week long stays in higher education institutions participating in the Erasmus programme. The maximum amount for each grant will be 1.200 Euros. This project works within the framework of the Lifelong Learning programme of the Education Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission. This project permits professional experience and practice exchanges through short stays in other European universities.

Candidates interested in applying  can choose up to 3 destinations out of 70 places offered in over 40 universities in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. The grant holders will have the opportunity to discover and understand the management of the most predominant areas and departments of these institutions and thus improve their professional skills while working towards the integration of the University of Seville in the European Higher Education area.

To apply for one of these grants, a WORKING PLAN OR TRAINING PROPOSITION must be submitted. It will be taken into consideration by the Evaluation Committee during the pre-selection period of candidates and will finally be approved by the host destination of all the grant holders.

In this proposal, the candidate must show the general objectives he expects to achieve during this placement and  provide detailed and specific aims, which should be relevant to the applicant’s role back at the University of Seville. They should also present the professional benefits that will be gained with this experience;  and the repercussions of the placement on their home workplace.

The work plan and its corresponding report (available online) should both be attached to the application in PDF format.
Once the applications are reviewed and the work plans are put forward, the pre-selected candidates will be invited for an interview, which will be done in English or in the appropriate language, depending on the applicant’s destination.

The application process will be finalized by 31st January 2011. If you have any doubts or enquiries concerning this offer, please contact relint25@us.es or call 954 55 59 25.
